The original component used in the cubicle wall system was produced by welding a stamped bracket to a section of cut-to-length electro-welded steel tubing. This method, while functional, involved multiple production steps and was costly due to the additional welding and stamping processes. The customer sought a more efficient manufacturing solution that could reduce production costs without compromising on quality or performance.
MES’s product engineers took on the challenge and redesigned the component using our Wrapped Tubular Stamping Technology. This innovative approach eliminated one stamping and all welding steps, streamlining the manufacturing process significantly. Our engineers developed and tested prototypes to ensure the new design met all the functional and aesthetic requirements of the original component.
